Adham El-Shazly is a PhD student in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge, supervised by Professor Alexander Bird. With a background in Medicine and Neuroscience, his research focuses on the epistemology of understanding, imagination, cognitive representations and networks. He also focuses on how we acquire understanding from others, and to what extent we should rely on others (including machines) for understanding.
